tobeinifinite asked: Yeah, it didn't get nearly enough attention as it should have. I wish they would make more films with a similar element the philosophy of the value of life. I would just like to see different perspectives. Well if you remember, they didn't qualify for the extension, because there was never an extension. It was merely a false hope. But I totally agree that Garfield did a great job. His...
someone insults one of my favorite movies—type long explanation of why they’re wrong, and their opinion is stupid until I give up and realize that, in fact, everyone is entitled to their own opinion…even if they don’t like good movies :(
tobeinifinite asked: (thought i would go un-anonymous). The idea of cloning is actually really not that far out, because of the progress of stem cell research. This whole cloning might be closer than what we would think. As morality of cloning, I don't think it's fair. A life is a life to me. Even the people who were over the orphanage had sympathy for the clones. I think the whole gallery aspect was...

Anonymous asked: I think there was a balance. The 'love story' aspect was the underlining feature why if it was morally right or not to clone people. If people watched it for a love story, they would very incredibly disappointed, because it wasn't about love, but about Carey Mulligan's character come to accept the terms of the life she was born to. Her and Tommy's relationship was just...

Anonymous asked: Gone Baby Gone
Anonymous asked: I don't think people missed that aspect of the value of life. I mean, that's the first thing I got from it. The romantic aspect added to that more than anything. It wouldn't call at a love story, but a philosophical and heart wrenching film

oh wow…okay so maybe I do have to see this.
It’s awfully B+ but still a good watch! Completely implausible in every way, but fun to watch and extremely pretty photography! Michael Douglas gives one of his best performances, I’d say.

If we have religious freedom, then why should laws be made based off of christian ideals? I don’t care if the bible tells you that you shouldn’t do certain things. Everyone should be able to, but no one will force you to.
